On 20 December 2025, the Company organized a workplace safety training program to enhance employees’ knowledge, awareness, and preparedness in responding to emergency situations, in line with its commitment to building a sustainable safety culture within the organization.

The program included training on basic firefighting, first aid, and emergency evacuation drills. The objective was to ensure that employees recognize the importance of workplace safety and are able to respond appropriately and effectively in emergency situations.

During the fire prevention and firefighting training, participants gained knowledge on the causes of fires, preventive measures, and the correct use of firefighting equipment, as well as proper procedures for incident reporting and initial emergency control in a safe manner.

In the first aid training session, employees were instructed on basic emergency response techniques, including providing first aid to injured persons, initial care for accident victims, and proper assistance prior to medical transfer, with the aim of increasing survival chances and reducing the severity of injuries.

In addition, fire evacuation drills, water spraying drills, and simulated firefighting exercises were conducted to allow employees to practice in realistic scenarios. These activities helped familiarize participants with evacuation procedures and encouraged effective teamwork during actual emergencies.

เพราะการใช้กล่องโฟมใส่อาหารอาจเป็นความเคยชินจนเราละเลยถึงอันตรายจะเกิดขึ้น แต่จริง ๆ แล้วภายใต้บรรจุภัณฑ์ธรรมดา ๆ นั้น กลับแฝงไปด้วยสารเคมีที่อาจส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพในระยะยาว อีกทั้งกล่องโฟมยังเป็นขยะที่ย่อยสลายได้ยาก ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าไม่เป็นผลดีต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมไม่ว่าจะทางไหน ดังนั้นเพื่อความปลอดภัยของสุขภาพ และเพื่อลดปัญหาที่ส่งผลกับสิ่งแวดล้อม เราควรรีบตัดวงจรการใช้กล่องโฟมก่อนที่อันตรายจะย่างกรายมาหาตัว

จะเห็นได้ว่า ขยะกล่องโฟมกลุ่มข้างต้นมีอายุการใช้งานสั้น แต่ใช้เวลาในการย่อยสลายนานเป็นร้อย ๆ ปี หากไม่นำกล่องโฟมกลับไปรีไซเคิล การทำลายขยะกล่องโฟมด้วยการเผาหรือฝังกลบก็จะส่งผลกระทบในวงกว้าง เริ่มจากสร้างมลพิษให้สิ่งแวดล้อม หรือที่เห็นกันบ่อย ๆ ก็คือ เศษขยะกล่องโฟมที่ถูกทิ้งขว้างตามพื้นถนน กลายเป็นขยะที่ไปอุดตันท่อน้ำ หรือเป็นขยะที่ลอยเคว้งอยู่ตามแม่น้ำ ลำคลอง จากนั้นก็ไหลลงสู่ท้องทะเล ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบนิเวศทางทะเล ห่วงโซ่อาหาร และการดำรงชีวิตของสิ่งมีชีวิตในระบบนิเวศ ของท้องทะเลทั่วโลกอีกด้วย

 

นอกจากนี้ทั้งโฟมและพลาสติกยังเป็นขยะที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม เช่น

หากทิ้งไม่ถูกที่ก็จะอุดตันท่อระบายน้ำทำให้เกิดปัญหาน้ำท่วมขัง
หากเกิดการเผาที่ไม่สมบูรณ์ จะเกิดการปล่อยก๊าซพิษ และก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ ที่เป็นสาเหตุหนึ่งของการเกิดโลกร้อน
ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบนิเวศและการดำรงชีวิตของพืชและสัตว์ต่าง ๆ
ทำให้เกิดการปนเปื้อนต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ทั้งในดินและแหล่งน้ำ
แต่ทั้งนี้ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ใด ๆ ในรูปแบบโฟมหรือเป็นถุงพลาสติก ขวดน้ำพลาสติก หรือของใช้ที่ผลิตจากพลาสติกชนิดอื่น ๆ แม้จะเป็นความสะดวกสบาย ใช้ง่าย ราคาถูก แต่ก็อย่าลืมนึกถึงอันตรายและโทษของพลาสติกกันด้วยนะคะ อย่างน้อยลดการใช้พลาสติกหรือโฟม แล้วแยกทิ้งตามประเภทขยะก็ยังดี จะได้นำพลาสติกหรือโฟมไปใช้ซ้ำ รีไซเคิลได้ และช่วยลดปริมาณขยะที่ย่อย
